    Custom made USA seating

    Many people ask us about chemical free sofas and sectionals. Since 2007 it has been our belief to sell the best product, free of harsh chemicals and made in a responsible way.

    Our standard USA build offer's fire retardant free cushions and fabrics. We use a very low VOC glue in our solid wood frames, the legs are stained with water based stains. The Poly foam we use is CertiPUR-US® certified direct from our California based foam manufacture. We expect very little smell or off gassing of any our upholstered furniture.

    We also offer a full natural build with certified organic latex cushions and OEKO-tex certified wool padding. Frames built from 100% FSC certified alder wood, with no plywood or particle board. 100% natural fabrics are available, hemp and cotton blends..

    Our new natural line is a custom made to order piece and takes between 4-8 weeks to complete.

    Bamboo Furniture

    We also offer solid bamboo furniture free of any particle board or laminated woods. Solid bamboo offers one of the best options for low chemical wood furniture.

    Giving back/Tree planting

    We are huge nature lovers here at MDS and we felt it was our duty to give back to the forests that comprise a lot of what we sell. So a few years back we began giving to the National Forest Foundation, the non-profit organization in charge of our national forests. Through the tree planting program we have donated 1000's of trees and now donate 5 trees per sofa section sold. Please check them out at nationalforests.org. Thank you.
